Dr. Shannon Wesche
Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Shannon Wesche graduated from University of Arizona in 2000. She received her BVMS (Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery) in 2008 from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Returning to Tucson, she worked at various practices throughout southern Arizona (Nogales, Bisbee, Green Valley, mobile home visits) including BAH. In 2015 she moved to Washington state for six years to be closer to her family. She returned to work at Broadway Animal Hospital this year and decided to buy the practice!!
She is thrilled to continue the tradition of affordable veterinary care in this 90-year-old veterinary hospital.
Dr. Janet Mueller
Veterinarian
Our dedicated Veterinarian, Dr. Janet Mueller DVM, received her Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine(DVM) Degree in 1980 from the University of Missouri. She began practicing Veterinary Medicine in Las Vegas, NV for 2.5 years. She then moved to Tucson, AZ in 1983 where she began Emergency Relief work and then started working at Mica Peak Veterinary Hospital in 1988. Dr Mueller has been our Lead Veterinarian for over 40 years and continues to be an outstanding and dedicated Veterinarian to our community.

Experienced Veterinarians
Dr. Shannon Wesche has been practicing in southern Arizona since 2008 and is the new owner of the hospital since 2024.. She has been at Mika Peak Veterinary Hospital since 1988 and continues to provide top notch service to your beloved animals.

Adrianne is a Tucson Native and has worked at Broadway Animal Hospital for over 18 years. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2007 as a Certified Veterinarian Technician
Stephanie
Stephanie has worked here at Broadway Animal Hospital for over 10 years. She graduated from Carrington College in 2012 as a Certified Veterinary Assistant.

Mark is our Laboratory Manager. He is a Tucson Native and has worked here at Broadway Animal Hospital for over 20 years. He graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2003 and has his Certificate in Phlebotomy.
