Dr. Shannon Wesche
Dr. Shannon Wesche earned her BVMS from the University of Glasgow in 2008. After working in several clinics across southern Arizona and spending six years in Washington to be closer to family, she returned to Tucson and rejoined Broadway Animal Hospital. This year, she purchased the practice and is excited to continue its long tradition of providing affordable veterinary care at this 90-year-old hospital.

I was referred to BAH by my son who had reported a very positive experience with taking his own dog there. When my maltipoo needed her ears cleaned I took her to BAH and we saw Dr. Shannon. The office is older and definitely showing its age, but it was clean as could be and actually smelled pleasant. The office staff was friendly and laid back. Dr. Shannon had a very calming presence and was so gentle and sweet with my very nervous pup. They took excellent care of her, addressing all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. She explained everything thoroughly and I left feeling that I knew how to proceed with her care at home. I was surprised at how reasonable the charges were, though the receptionist verbally listed all the services that had been rendered, so I knew it was correct. I highly recommend this practice and will return.

My dog suffers from luxating patella and was having a bad time because is wouldn't pop back in. I tried calling our usual vet who said they couldn't see her for 2 weeks. So I started calling around and so many places were telling me they didn't have the equipment to see her because even though she had a history of luxating patella she would need an extensive exam and xrays and should go to an emergency vet. Broadway Animal Hospital was accommodating, friendly, didn't pressure me into a bunch of additional exams. Dr Shannon listened to what I had to say, examined my dog and treated accordingly. I will be changing to make this my usual vet now, even though it's on the other side of town from where I live.

Very nice experience. We were able to get a quick appointment at a reasonable cost, Dr. Shannon Wesche was friendly, calm and professional and followed up with a caring phone call to check on our dog's healing progress. We definitely recommend this facility.

The only place I bring my fur baby to! Prices and staff are great!Wanted to update. I recently thought I might have to put my pup down, but Broadway animal hospital gave me hope by having surgery on my pups eye. Not sure exactly what happened but it definitely needed to come out and they were able to get me in quickly. I picked up Achilis the next day and was great.Thanks to this amazing office I'll be able to have my pup around longer.

Broadway Animal Hospital is terrific. The vet is friendly, clearly loves animals, and has taken good care of my cat, ZEEK, the two times I had to take him there. Plenty of parking, friendly and efficient staff. Extremely reasonable in price: at least half of most other vets in town. The only place I would take my cats.

Dr. Shannon Wesche and her staff are kind, knowledgeable, and on the ball(of string)! I have a classic scaredy cat who is scared of everyone, except her dad and I. She not only let Dr. Shannon pet her, but also look in her ears and examine her! You have no idea what a big deal this is for us. Thank you so much, all of you, for our quick harmless visit. I've gone to Dr.Mueller for 20 years now. She's always been there for me when I've needed her.When I've had emergencies, she's seen me immediately. She's a wonderful and caring vet. She's honest, and reasonably priced.Most of the animal rescues in the Tucson area use this clinic.The staff is wonderful and friendly.I would not go anywhere else.
